Description

I know this is a month early but I can't seem to think of anything my Titanic right now needs updating after I finished with its major change.

Last night I finished with that change which was redoing all four funnels so they were slimmer, I felt they were too fat before. And added the correct pipping which i didn't have on the previous version. Especially the third funnel.

Also in this pic is my ORIGINAL drawing. The very first Titanic I did in MS Paint back in 2005. I wanted to show how much my drawing of the ship had evolved over time.

During that time a friend of mine, can't remember his DA right now, had his own drawing which I accused him of copy and pasting parts of mine but he said he didn't. Anyway, this then exploded into a heated battle to see who can do the better Titanic as we both were improving. In the end my passion for the ship drove me to do things he didn't and soon my Titanic became the better. So, I'll thank him for helping to drive me to do the best Titanic i could do, thank you mate.

I later acquired an extremely detailed sideview of the ship which now unfortunately has been lost when a copying fuck up occurred when i was backing up my external HDD which had the image on. I've since been unable to reacquire the image.

My passion for Titanic began when i was about six years old when i picked up a children's book on her back in Primary School. I swear i have no idea what it was about Titanic that fascinated me back then but whatever it was stuck and i was obsessed ever since. I even got banned from drawing Titanic on paper in Year 6.

My passion remains strong even now for Titanic, after 18 years since i picked up that book. I've had games, models, books and videos of her. If i had every model of Titanic i've had, i'd have at least 10 of them. Most were small scale and ones i weren't happy with after building. My best were the Revell 1:400 scales as i've had at least 3 of those. 1 threw away due to age and damage, 1 was stepped on by my Mum and broken and my current one is gathering dust hidden behind my QM2 as my newest and second Minicraft model of Titanic sits on my windowsill.

I doubt my passion for Titanic will ever die. If anything it will only grow as for the last 18 years thats all its ever done.

Well, i hope this is a good tribute to Titanic and i would love to know what you people think of my drawing.

Thank you for viewing and commenting (if you do).
